Rebuilding the Khumbu

The Greater Himalayas Foundation has been working in the Khumbu region since the inception of the Foundation in 2007. Our efforts in the long term rebuilding after the earthquake in Nepal will be focused on villages in the Khumbu. If you would like to restrict your donation to Rebuilding the Khumbu, please donate through this page.

With much of the Greater Himalayas Foundation’s existing programs in the Khumbu region of Nepal, we have decided to focus our efforts in the long term rebuilding of Nepal to the villages of Khumbu such as Khumjung, Khunde, and Phortse. We are currently waiting on a detailed assessment report of the damages and needs. We are also coordinating with other organizations to make sure that efforts are not being duplicated. To restrict your donation to go specifically for Rebuilding the Khumbu, please donate through this page.
